This month, we'll raise a glass of sparkling Sake to another wine hero, Richard Auffrey, from The Passionate Foodie blog. Richard has been writing about food and wine for as long as we have. We've followed him for nearly two decades and find him a reliable food and wine scout.

Trying wines from different places, made with different grapes (OR RICE) and produced by different methods, adds spice to our monthly ritual. Since 2007, we have raised a glass of sparkling wine to greet each new month!
