The doors are on 488 Columbus Avenue. In 2001 Lynda Morgenroth noted in her book Boston Neighborhoods, “At 488 Columbus Avenue, a redbrick row house with brownstone trim and a spiffy oak door has a wildly colorful, English-style patch with a sign that exhorts, GROW, DAMMIT!” The book also contains a charming sketch of this doorway.
