Say, “Guid Mornin,” to Sunday Dog “Affy,” a Scottish lad whose ancestors date back hundreds of years! This Skye Terrier’s relatives were romping around the Isle of Skye at least four centuries ago and likely predate all terrier breeds in Scotland.
This affable three-year-old is originally from Connecticut but now calls Boston home. Because
Affy’s only been in town a week, he’s still adjusting to the sounds of the city. This place can also be a little overwhelming at first with so many people and dogs to meet. But no matter where you’re from, there’s always one universal dog greeting that can make you feel right at home …
Since our Poppy’s had a few weeks head start adapting to her surroundings, she’s offered to introduce her new buddy around– it shouldn’t be too difficult for two adorable terriers with Scottish genes.
By the way, because his people work in the pharmaceutical industry, the name Affy is a nod to Affymetrix, a company that makes gene analysis hardware.
Nice to meet ya, Affy! You’re gonna have a great time here!
