You'll find this wonderful row of windows with two triangular and one arched pediments at 43 Commonwealth Avenue. The architect for this building was Julius A. Schweinfurth. He also designed 304 Commonwealth Avenue and The New England College of Optometry buildings at 426-428 Beacon Street.
Walk a loop of the three buildings and you'll see three distinct expressions of one man's talent. He designed 43 Commonwealth as a single family home in 1902. It was converted to six apartment in 1948. Today it is set up as 5 condominiums.
