This week How2Heroes celebrated their first anniversary at an event as filled with food and fun as their site.
They surrounded themselves with heroes, fans, supporters, and Boston area food bloggers.
We were treated to live versions of some of the video demonstrations. For example, Chef Jose Duarte of Taranta restaurant in the North End showed us how to make Peruvian causa. Here's a link to that recipe. It will give you a idea of how the site works.

This site seems to attract a really nice group of people. Each person I've met wearing one of their great How2Heroes aprons (at this and other events) has been talented and charming.
It was fun to see the culinary students from Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Boston (who assisted with the event) enjoy a few moments with Chef Duarte. Helping food folks network is another way How2Heroes make the culinary scene a better place.
