It's time to buy some simple, clean wines to enjoy with a picnic or with a meal on a city roof deck.
We enjoyed our first roof deck supper this week and popped a bottle of Gruet Blanc de Noir for to toast the occasion.
Our wine rack will usually have a supply of Gruet Sparkling wines. Bottles of these refreshing sips will cost about $17 at Bauer Wines on Newbury Street.
Bauer usually has the Rose and the Blanc De Noir on hand.
We love to order spicy ethnic take-out for roof deck dining and dry sparkling wines are the perfect foil for these dishes.
