Today's Sunday Dogs are Shire and Friday.
Shire is the black tri-color (Friday's daughter) and her nickname is PITA pup. She doesn't quite know why she's called that, but suspects it contains a swear word.
Friday, the dad, is the red merle. His nickname is surfer dude because
he's so laid back.

Their photo was taken by their human companion Cyndi Jacobs who follows BostonZest from their home in Brockton.
She promised treats would fall from the sky if they would just stay still for their photo. And, that's just what happened after these big smiles and pretty eyes were captured.
Shire says, "We're working dogs, well I am, Friday just sits around waiting for bones to fall from the sky, sometimes they do ya know. Anyway I help with the recycling, I can spread it around the yard better than Cyndi. I help with the gardening, I dig better holes and faster. I wash the dishes, Friday helps with this, no surprise there. Cyndi tells us that we give the best facials, pedicures, and manicures. Who needs those high priced salons when you have us? And we are the unofficial taste testers (especially when we don't get caught counter surfing) for Cyndi when she is cooking up all her delicious goodies. She's pretty good ya know."
Friday and Shire want to highly recommend two of their favorite books. They say, "We find it much more rewarding to work for treats (yummy liver brownies or Cyndi's homemade doggie crack) then collar snaps (ouch!!! those hurt)." Here are their books.
