The annual Boston Magazine, Best of Boston 2008 issue is on newsstands. The list contains many picks that we endorse and a few that we have already included in our recommendations.
We'll comment and link to some of those to give BostonZest readers the information they need to decide what to try and remind them of the products and places worth a return visit.

High on that list is Trattoria Toscana. Congratulations to Chef Zamir Kociaj and his restaurant family for the consistent level of food and service that brought this title to them for the second year in a row.

First in the article and first in our hearts is bread from B & R Artisan Breads for best "Bakery, Bread." We're in love with their products and plan to visit the bakery soon for a more in-depth story.
Here is a recent B & R entry:

The team at L'Espalier won "Best French." They will soon move to their new stage, but we expect that their performance will still deserve a standing ovation. Here are a two entries on L'Espalier.

L'Voile won for "Best Lunch" but this neighbor won our hearts on the first of many, many visits we have made there since they opened. Félicitations, L'Voile! Here's a piece on a lunch we enjoyed on their patio and another about lunch in general.

That's a start in the dining category. We plan to try some of the places on the list and will report back on those.
