No time to go out to the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum? Then, hurry because if you get to the Commonwealth Avenue Mall before the next storm, you can enjoy the impromptu sculpture park installed near Fairfield Street.
It began with this stylized Michelin-Tire-Man snowman. Each day it leans a little more. This sculptor must have a bit of structural engineer training.
Then someone added this one.
The weekend saw this appear. And, perhaps there was one more that had been destroyed before I could record it.
The entire scene takes on the feeling of a still life, staged for a drawing class where students to learn to shade the shapes!
