It’s no secret. He’s known, far & wide, as “The Happiest Dog in the World!” It’s Ricky!
You simply cannot look into those big brown eyes and do anything but smile. Happiness is contageous when you’re around Ricky, not unlike his namesake, Ricky Ricardo, who was quite the entertainer– feverishly beating his conga drum while nightclub dancers went wild.
It almost looks like our Ricky is trying to tap out a rhythm of his own. We’re told he’s quite the dancer and is always ready to show off a new step. This 3 1/2-year-old is very social and thoroughly enjoys being “a ham.”
To Ricky, life is a toy! His new favorite is a talking Mr. Bill Doll that says, “Oh, No-o-o!”
Actually, this canine cavorter is a toy...as in breed. He’s a Hanvanese– known as "the national dog of Cuba.” Ricky’s ancestors go back to Spain and, rumor has it, there might be some Bichon in the mix, too.
Whatever Ricky’s lineage, we’re just happy he’s part of our world, as today’s Sunday Dog.
