Before you go off to visit all these links, here's my first take on the just released, Mild Ale from one of our local brewers, Pretty Things. Dann and Martha call this their historical beer, February 27th 1832. Learn why over at Pretty Things.
I managed to wrest the last bottle in the store from the hands of Nick Zappia at Central Bottle last Friday, (you gotta be quick). I found it a bit more hoppy than malty. It matched well with two favorite cheeses– Rogue River Blue, and Twig Farm Square.
This Mild Ale goes down easy, and I liked it even more as it warmed-up. I'm off to find more.Happy St. Patrick's Day!
