Who was that dog cruising along the Comm. Ave. Mall, last Sunday? It was Kepler, trying out a set of "Eddie's Wheels."
They're perfect for a more mature guy, whose high-energy lifestyle is beginning to catch up with him.
Kepler's always been a very active, athletic dog. And, at 13, "Eddie's Wheels" give him the freedom to stay that way.
After just 4-days with his loner cart (while his custom rig is being designed) Kepler showed no sign of slowing down. We had to move fast to get some of these action shots. The only time he stopped was to give a favorite tree a big sniff.
Roll on, Kepler!

What a joy to see Kepler actually using his rear legs today to push off as he raced up and down the block. Not only is the cart helping him get around, it's making him stronger.
We'll try to do another report when his own customized wheels are ready. It's great to see him in action.

Actually, Kepler's inablitiy to walk is due to pins in his leg that we knew would bother him as he ages; and he tore muscles on his other leg. But as you can see, he doesn't let a little thing like sore legs keep him down. Thanks for these great pictures, you should have seen him wheeling around with Cameron Diaz in the Public Garden last week. - James & Kepler

Sweet. It's great to know that if your dog develops bad hips, he/she could still get around!

That's awesome and he's very handsome.
