Each year we look forward to the arrival of Saturn or Donut peaches from Keown Orchards. Not only are they incredibly delicious, but they're also fun to photograph.

How do you pick perfect peaches? Russ Parsons tells you that an a lot more about selecting produce in, "How to Pick a Peach." As I write this the print edition costs less than the Kindle edition. It's a great book for your food reference shelf.
Keown will be at the City Hall Farmers' Market on Monday and I'll be stopping by to purchase another big bag of these little gems. They are also at Copley on Tuesday and Friday, Dewey Square on Tuesday, and Thursday, Central Square on Monday, and Hopkinton on Friday.
