Today we turn the BostonZest keyboard over to J. Alain Ferry of BostonDog.org.
Hello everyone!
BostonDOG will hold our next meeting at 7pm on Monday, August 3rd.
The Beacon Hill Civic Association has graciously offered us meeting space at their 74 Joy Street location.
To help spread the word; we've created a flyer which can be downloaded here.
The focus of the evening will be a discussion on our plans for a dog park in Boston Common. Additionally, Kara Holmquist from the MSPCA will be discussing proposed changes to the animal control laws in Massachusetts, including a publicly funded spay/neuter program, an improved dangerous dog law which is not breed-specific and training requirements for animal control officers.
- Agenda items to be discussed include:
- Introduction to BostonDOG
- Boston Common Dog Park Proposal
- BostonDOG Fundraiser Calendars
- Fundraiser Events Committee
- MSPCA Presentation on Massachusetts Animal Control Laws
- Who's Walking Who Promotion
- Poop Patrol Program
- 501(c)(3) Application
We hope you can attend!
-Alain

Instead of our usual BostonZest Amazon Store ad today, we'd like to recommend purchasing a BostonDog Calendar.
You know your pup leads a busy life and deserves a calendar of his or her own to keep track of your
birthday, play dates, spa days at the groomer, reservations at "Hotel de Canine."
What's more, you can use it to track those items your dog would rather not think about like heartworm meds, vet appointments or 10 days of medication.
