This beautiful St. Bernard was a tiny pup learning to climb stairs when I met him last May.
I took his picture for my weekly collection of photos for the Back Bay Sun.
This week I met Mr. Leo and his lady near that same stairway and he was kind enough to pose for a new photo.
Now his head is almost as big as all of him was last year.
I couldn't resist digging out the shot of Leo as a tiny tot trying to make it up the front steps of his Back Bay home. Leo has grown into a polite and gentle giant. And, as you can see, he's still totally adorable.

If you have a large dog, a drooling dog, or a "leaky" dog, make life easier by investing in a big dog blanket to protect your furniture, car, or just to give them a big place to stretch out on the floor.
And, while these bed protector pads were made for humans, they are wonderful to have when your dog sleeps on your bed or to help with a pup's upset tummy or bowel problems.
