Tre Noci Italian almond crunch is salty, sweet, nutty, and crunchy. And, it's made right here in Boston.
It's also one of the best bites of the month.
I was at Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge when the woman at the pastry counter offered me a sample of Tre Noci.
It was love at first bite and (like many others who had a sample) I took a bag home along with the other goodies I had gathered for weekend guests.
I have to confess that I was tempted to hoard them. After all, I needed to photograph them for BostonZest. And, I'm not the only Tre Noci fan who feels that way. One comment on their website says:
"I've been sending Tre Noci for holiday gifts for four consecutive years and keeping some for myself. Even a generous person finds himself hiding a stash and not wanting to share."
In the end, because I love my guests, I shared my stash. I put them in a bowl and before I could get my camera, they were gone. Fortunately, Phyllis Tomaine of Tre Noci was willing to share her photo with us.
The website below will lead you to places to buy Tre Noci or you can order them directly from the source. This could be the perfect hostess gift for Easter.
