While we all notice scofflaws who never shovel their
sidewalks, we should also note the neighbors who do a great job.
This
building, on the corner Of Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street,
consistently creates a wide walkway, clears the corner, and makes sure
the storm drain is open and working.
Those of us who walk by thank you. If the city had a database to praise good neighbors, I'd add you to it. Thanks too, to the thousands of other neighbors who make an honest effort to keep walkers safe.
Boston does have ways to report those who don't follow the city ordinance on shoveling snow and deicing walkways. Pop these contact numbers into your cell phone so you can report those who are not doing the required snow removal.
