At the Boston Public Library in Copley Square the line for Precinct 9
wound out of the building, down the sidewalk, and sometimes around the
corner onto Exeter Street.
If you entered the line at 10 AM you voted around 11 AM. But, by then they were telling the voters they had taken some steps that should cut the time in half.
A voter who arrived at 12:30 PM could vote and exit in 18 minutes.
While Precinct 9 residents had a long wait, voters in Precinct 7 and Precinct 8 sailed by them to enter very short lines or no lines at all. They were voting and returning pass the line in less in ten minutes or less.
At least one voter from Precinct 9, was gathering information to file an official complaint with the Secretary of State.
