It's time to make your reservations for Thanksgiving dinner if you are planning to enjoy the meal in one of Boston's fine restaurants.
Click here for our 2010 information.
Our choice for the past two holidays has been Sel de la Terre on State Street. We've been very happy with our meals, the service and the setting.
This year we are trying to decide between the new Sel de la Terre on Boylston Street and L'Espalier. Both will be open for the holiday. Both offer special prix fixe menus that day.
What Boston Area Restaurants are Open on Thanksgiving?
Hotel restaurants are normally open on all holidays. In Boston, this includes some excellent choices including:
- Asana at the Mandarin Hotel
- Rialto at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge
- Aujourd'hui at the Four Season's Boston
- Aura at the Seaport hotel with chef Rachel Klein
- Brasserie Jo the Colonnade Hotel
Our top recommendations for restaurants outside of the hotels would be:
- Upstairs on the Square in Cambridge
- Harvest in Cambridge
Master lists of Boston restaurants open for Thanksgiving.
The reservation site, Open Table, is maintaining a list of its member restaurants with Thanksgiving menus. Some listings include a price and information on offerings beyond traditional holiday fare.
