With the "celebrity worship" and "reality TV culture" so pervasive these days, it's easy to be unaware of the economic engine that real arts and culture represent. These organizations are good for our minds, hearts, and souls. And, they're a very good investment for our communities.

"Opening Our Doors" is a
day-long celebration of the cultural life of this neighborhood. The
coordinating organization for this event is the Fenway Cultural
Alliance. They've planned an amazing day when they can proudly say, "Every event is free and open to the
public."
