James Hook & Company Is Back at Old Location

Img_6025_version_2It's official!

James Hook & Company is back at their original location.

They'll be selling lobsters, clams, and other fresh seafood from a new temporary home on the site of the of the landmark building that was destroyed by fire.

Img_6029_version_2 I stopped by yesterday and checked with the workers prepping the new structure. They said they thought it would open this weekend. This morning I called and confirm the good news.

They'll be open until 4 pm today. This calls for a lobster celebration!

Here is a great photo of the sign soon after the fire. I also hope some sense of the original returns.

I love that place, especially their crooked little sign with the funny lettering. I hope the sign comes back.
